Applications are open for the Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) STEM Challenge 2025. LASRIC Is looking for fund-ready solutions that help students deepen their STEM knowledge. The solutions should be applicable to students from Primary Schools to the tertiary level.
The focus areas are:
- FutureTech
- Al/Robotics
- GreenTech
- Inclusivity Tech
- EdTech/General Tech Skills
- Capacity Building
Eligibility
To be eligible for the LASRIC STEM Award, the applicant must:
- Have valid means of identity.
- Have a startup company registered and based in Lagos.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a product/tool/solution/technique that is your original idea.
- Have a Minimum Viable Product (i.e., Have successfully implemented this solution to verifiable beneficiaries with documented impact).
- Not be indebted to the Lagos State Government through loans or support funds (e.g., LSETF).

Note that initiatives with high-value scalable solutions will be considered for LASRIC equity investment.
