ClimAccelerator is a global programme for start-ups to innovate, catalyse and scale the potential of their climate solutions. The Circular Economy ClimAccelerator in Nairobi is a result-oriented programme targeted at local Circular Economy (relatively mature) solutions that are shifting the local ecosystem towards more circularity.
The aim of the programme is to help start-ups solve critical and priority business challenges, help expand networks within and outside Kenya and connect with the circular economy community in Nairobi. They strongly encourage applications from businesses with a commitment to gender equality, including marginalised groups and informal workers. By fostering an environment that values all perspectives and backgrounds, they aim to support inclusive economic growth and create opportunities for those traditionally underrepresented in formal sectors.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the programme, your business must meet the following criteria:
- For profit, post revenue business with an annual turnover of USD 50,000+.
- Have a product/service that eliminates / reduces / prevents waste at its source.
- Have a product / service that has a social / environmental / local impact.
- Have solutions that benefit / target / impact the informal sectors (and associated marginalized communities).
- Operating within the Nairobi Metropolitan area.
- At least 2 FULL-TIME co-founders, with 5+ FULL-TIME employees.
- 3+ years of existence.
