Applications are open for the BRIDGE-ing the Gap for African Entrepreneurs in Canada 2025. This accelerator program, running from May 2025 to May 2026, is designed to empower African immigrant entrepreneurs in Canada who’ve launched businesses here, and are now looking for extra support to scale. Participants will receive a repayable grant— with a low interest of only 5% repayable over 12 months, no credit score required, capacity building workshops, mentorship and networking.

Grant
- Up to $5,000 is available for a successful applicant.
Eligibility
- Must be registered in Ontario;
- Must be in operations for at least 3 months;
- Must have a minimum of $3,000 in monthly revenue;
- No credit score requirement;
- Can be from any sector or industry;
- Must have migrated within the past 5 years.
If you’re ineligible for the ‘BRIDGE-ing the Gap for African Entrepreneurs in Canada’ program, they also offer a general loan program. This program provides up to $10,000 in business loans with a 10% interest cap and no credit score requirements. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with no deadline. Loans are evaluated in the order they are received, so the earlier you apply, the sooner you’ll receive funding, if approved.
