SFF FinTech Excellence Awards 2025 (S$50,000 prize)

Applications for the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards 2025 are now open. The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) FinTech Excellence Awards 2025, organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), serve as a beacon of excellence within the FinTech ecosystem, recognising the remarkable contribution of both corporate entities and individual contributors.

The Awards underscore the innovative strides made in the field of financial technology. This is a prestigious awards ceremony in Singapore that shines the spotlight on those who have made extraordinary contributions to the industry’s meteoric rise on the global stage.

Winners will be selected under 6 award categories by MAS and SFA to recognise corporates and individuals whose initiatives have contributed significantly to the FinTech ecosystem. Finalists will be evaluated on the criteria relevant to the respective categories. 

Categories

Corporate Awards

  • Emerging FinTech
  • Financial Inclusivity
  • Regulatory leader
  • Sustainable Innovator
  • Thematic AI Champion

Individual Award

  • FinTech Mentor

Prizes

  • All first-place winners in the Corporate Awards categories will receive S$50,000
  • There will be 3 Winners of the FinTech mentor Award, each receiving S$5,000.

Eligibility

  • Emerging FinTech
    • Incorporated within the past three years with a FinTech solution implemented/deployed in any part of the world.
    • The FinTech company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
    • The FinTech company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.
  • Financial Inclusivity
    • The company must have implemented/deployed a solution with the objective of promoting financial inclusion and improving access to financial services (e.g. microinsurance, peer-to-peer lending).
    • The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
    • The company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.
  • Regulatory leader
    • The company must have implemented/deployed an innovative solution to support regulatory compliance and governance.
    • The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
    • The company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.
  • Sustainable Innovator
    • The company must have implemented/deployed an ESG solution adopted by corporates.
    • The company’s core business must be related to the finance industry.
    • The company does not need to be a regulated entity in Singapore.
  • Thematic AI Champion
    • AI solution deployed or implemented by corporates.
  • FinTech Mentor
    • Recognition of mentors in Singapore FinTech ecosystem.
    • The mentor can be nominated by an individual from the same company or from a different company.
