Applications are open for the EDSAFE AI Catalyst Fellowship 2026. The AI Catalyst Fellowship is a global fellowship designed for educators, industry professionals, school administrators, policymakers, and community advocates who want to take an active role in shaping the future of AI in education.

This fellowship provides professionals with community of practice who are interested in learning about the tools, knowledge, and support required to lead the development of AI policies that prioritize equity, justice, and learner well-being. Through hands-on experience, you will collaborate, receive mentorship from AI and education experts, and develop actionable strategies that align with the SAFE (Safety, Accountability, Fairness, Efficacy) framework.

Whether you’re focused on AI literacy in the classroom, data privacy, or addressing the needs of underserved students, the AI Catalyst Fellowship empowers you to be a leader in ensuring AI technology benefits all learners. Join them in this transformative journey and help shape an education system where every student can thrive in the digital age.

Benefits

Fellows will:

Eligibility

The Catalyst Fellowship is open to individuals who are passionate about the use of AI in education and who identify as:

  • Educational leaders: This includes administrators, teachers, researchers, and policymakers who are interested in exploring AI’s potential to improve learning outcomes.
  • Open for worldwide applications.

Application

Applications are due November 30, 2025, at 10 p.m. EST. They will not accept applications submitted after this date and time. Fellows will be announced in January 2026!
