Deadline: November 30, 2025

Applications are open for the EDSAFE Women in AI Fellowship 2026. Designed for women technologists and educational leaders, this Fellowship creates a space for learning, support, and building a network.  Built for leaders in the education sector from industry and the field, this interdisciplinary fellowship brings together leaders on the supply and demand side to reimagine education as a learning system enabled by AI.

The Women in AI cohort is a dedicated space for women in education, technology, policy, and advocacy to come together and drive the responsible and equitable integration of AI in learning environments. This program fosters a collaborative community where participants can enhance their expertise, gain valuable insights, and develop leadership skills crucial to shaping AI policies that champion equity, justice, and learner well-being.

Benefits

  • Throughout the fellowship, you’ll engage in hands-on learning, receive mentorship from trailblazing women in AI and education, and craft practical solutions that align with the SAFE (Safety, Accountability, Fairness, Efficacy) framework. Whether you’re advancing AI literacy, advocating for data privacy, or ensuring access for underserved students, Women in AI supports your journey to lead with impact.

Eligibility

  • Open to women in AI and tech, especially those striving for increased representation and leadership in these fields.
  • Global applicants are enthusiastically welcomed.
  • Applicants from Canada, the United States, Africa, and elsewhere who are passionate about safe, responsible AI in education are invited and eligible for the Women in AI Fellowship.
