Applications are open for the Ashinaga Internship Program – Spring 2026. Join Ashinaga Foundation – a Japanese non-profit organization providing financial support and emotional care to young people around the world who have lost either one or both parents, or whose parents have a disability that prevents them from working sufficiently.

Northeastern University Global Study Expo 2026

Intern with the foundation gain hands-on experience in the non-profit field, develop international connections, and build essential career skills. This program is open to university students, graduate students, and recent graduates from all over the world.

Benefits

  • Multicultural working environment: Gain valuable working experience in an international non-profit with teammates from around the globe.
  • Multiple intern positions available: They offer several positions under the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) or their Japan-based student activities.
  • Part-time, flexible working arrangements: Decide on a schedule that works for you. Work remotely from your country of residence.

Eligibility

  • Open to university students, graduate students, and recent graduates.
  • Applicants may be from all over the world.

Application

As there are multiple intern positions open for application, ensure that you have read through each position’s job description before applying. You will be allowed to indicate a first choice and second choice position in your application. The application deadline is 27 February 2026, 11:59PM Japan Time (GMT+9).
