Applications are open for the Amani Pamoja Training Course on Advocacy and Dialogue Skills for Peace 2026. The programme invites young people from youth-led and youth-focused organizations working for peace to participate in the ‘AMANI PAMOJA’ training course on peace advocacy skills, that focuses on building the necessary capacities to have a social and political impact in their respective countries and on a global scale.
The activity will include exchange opportunities and the creation and consolidation of new partnerships among the participants, who represent youth-led non-profit and non-governmental organisations. The course will be held from November 27 to December 3, 2026, in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain), travel days included.
Costs
- Thanks to the Erasmus+ grant, travel costs to and from the venue, accommodation, and subsistence costs (food, transport and materials) are covered for selected participants for the duration of the mobility.
- Certain minor costs—such as visa fees or specific insurance coverage—may not be fully covered by the EU grant. During the selection phase, your sending organisation will provide a detailed breakdown of all cost coverage terms.
- Each participant is responsible for completing all the necessary procedures to obtain his/her visa to enter Spain, with the assistance of the coordinating and host organisation, which will provide an invitation letter and the hotel confirmation.
Eligibility
- Be between 18 and 29 years old (Europe) and 18 and 35 years old (East Africa).
- Interest in/motivation to apply the course’s learning.
- Be part of a youth- led and youth-focused group or organisation.
- Ability to communicate in English (level B2).
- Legal residency in a participating country: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Germany, Spain and Italy.
They give priority to individuals who have not participated in international exchange programs and/or who face barriers to participating in this type of activity.
