Applications are open for the LeadGreen Fellowship Cohort 4. The LeadGreen Fellowship catalyzes the potential of young environmental changemakers across Africa. They empower emerging climate leaders by equipping them with practical skills, dedicated mentorship, and a powerful network of peers.
Designed for high-impact youth aged 20-30, the intensive program goes beyond traditional training. They accelerate the careers and initiatives of young Africans who are already driving bold, community-centered solutions for a sustainable continent. Through the program the fellows learn the environmental challenges affecting their community and continent through practical training, expert conversations and peer learning, take real environmental action through structured LeadGreen Missions designed to be achievable in their own community.

- The core 12-week fellowship is 100% free of charge to ensure there are no financial barriers for high-impact young change-makers from marginalized communities.
Eligibility
- You must be 18-29 years old;
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from university, and from a low-income or first-generation background.
- No prior leadership experience is strictly required, just a drive to make an impact.
Application
You can expect to spend approximately 3 hours per week engaging with the course materials, attending live peer sessions, and working on your community project framework. Each cohort brings together a new group of Leadgreen Leaders from around the world. Apply before your individual cohort’s deadline.
