Applications are open for the Naija Feminists Media Editorial Fellowship on Reproductive Health 2026. As part of its commitment to advancing feminist journalism and gender reporting, Naija Feminists Media invites media professionals to apply for its 2026 Editorial Fellowship on reproductive health to mark #16DaysofActivism Against Gender-Based Violence.
Reproductive rights are the rights of individuals to make informed decisions about their bodies, sexuality, reproduction, and reproductive health without discrimination, coercion, or violence. In commemoration of the 2026 #16DaysofActivism, the fellowship will equip journalists with the tools, knowledge, and mentorship necessary to produce compelling journalistic work that challenges dominant false narratives about reproductive rights and facilitates systemic change.
Each fellow in the programme will produce a story exploring reproductive rights, including lived realities, contributing factors, barriers to access, and solutions. Stories will educate the public on reproductive rights, demand legislative and institutional accountability, and facilitate impactful change. Fellows’ reports will be published during the 16 Days of Activism.
