European Youth Energy Forum (EYEF) 2026

Applications are open for the European Youth Energy Forum (EYEF) 2026. The European Youth Energy Forum (EYEF) is the flagship event of EYEN, that creates a space for young people to voice their perspectives and connects them with energy stakeholders to drive action. Under the theme “From Skills to Impact: Empowering Young Professionals to Implement the Energy Transition”, EYEF 2026 aims to empower youth to contribute meaningfully to the energy transition by combining policy reflection, practical learning, and collaboration with institutions and industry.

As a participant, you will embark on a 3-month online programme, which will culminate in a 4-day live event to be held in Nice, France from 26 – 29 October 2026. You will collaborate within a team to translate EYEN’s policy proposals into concrete projects. Participants will also get the opportunity to interact with institutions and industry experts to explore how youth-led ideas can contribute to real-world energy transitions efforts.

Selected participants will take part in the online programme followed by the in-person forum in Nice, France.

Eligibility

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be between 18 – 35 years on 26 October 2026.
  • Must be residing in a country within the European Political Community or the Mediterranean region (Algeria, Belarus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia). 
  • Must not have previously participated in EYEF.
  • Must be passionate about actively contributing to a just energy transition.
