If you are looking for ways to Magnify your Impact as an entrepreneur in Africa, consider applying today to join the 11th Class of Harambeans. In partnership with top ranking graduate programs, Harambe awards full scholarships for young African leaders to purse master degrees and hone their entrepreneurial instincts.

Harambeans are young African innovators who are scaling social and business ventures across sectors, raised capital from prominent investors such as Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, and gained the endorsement of the African Union, Vanity Fair and the Queen of England among others.

Benefits

Admitted applicants will be invited to participate in the 11th annual Harambe Bretton Woods Symposium (HBWS XI), April 13–16 at Yale, Harvard and the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire.

Scholar Programs

  1. The Fletcher Scholar Program: This is a full-tuition award for young African entrepreneurial leaders wishing to pursue a master’s program at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, starting in September 2018.
  2. The Oxford Pershing Square Scholar Program: In partnership with the Pershing Square Foundation, the Oxford Pershing Square Scholar Program is a 2 year full tuition plus living stipend award for Africa’s entrepreneurs wishing to scale their impact and pursue an Oxford 1+1 MBA at Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, starting in September 2018.
  3. The Yale Scholar Program: This is a full-tuition plus fees award for Africa’s entrepreneurial leaders wishing to pursue a two year MBA at the Yale School of Management starting in September 2018.
  4. The Oxford Skoll Scholar Program: The Skoll Scholarship provides full funding and a living stipend to complete a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.

Eligibility

  • Born in Africa and / or current passport holders of an African country
  • Two or more years of work experience
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
