Applications are open for the ONE Champions Programme in Africa 2024-2025. This two-year volunteer programme is ideal for young people aged 18-35 years old, who are passionate about doing more to end extreme poverty and preventable diseases everywhere, want to develop skills in advocacy and understanding of development finance, and are keen to join a global network of people speaking out for global justice.
This role is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain more experience in international development or who wants to develop their skills in bringing about change. Being a ONE Champion offers you an opportunity to impact your community, country and the world on specific issues in development finance working in a highly-visible, mission-driven ONE network. As part of the fellowship, Champions will receive training on how to campaign, lobby decision makers and engage the media in a compelling way. You will also have the opportunity to attend ONE events and put your skills into practice in meetings with high-level decision makers. You will have a chance to follow through a decision making outcome until achieved.

Eligibility
- Applicant should be from any of the following countries: Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia and Egypt.
- Applicants must be aged 18-35 years old.
- There are no educational limitations. They want everyone to become an advocate for the greater good of their society.
