Do you want lead change and drive innovation within your government? The World Bank invites dedicated public servants to apply for the Government Analytics Fellowship Program 2024. This initiative is based on the pioneering Government Analytics Handbook and is designed to unlock the power of data within governments, transforming it into actionable insights to enhance public administration.
Leveraging insights from the Government Analytics Handbook and supported by World Bank experts and academics, the Fellowship offers frontier evidence and practitioner insights to enhance government efficiency. The Fellowship is a collaboration between the World Bank Development Economics Vice-Presidency (DEC) and the Governance Global Practice (GGP).
The fellowship will comprise a mix of in-person training and in-service support from senior experts at the World Bank and University College London to develop a Government Analytics project. The fellowship spans 6 months, with a concentrated full-time commitment during the 2 weeks of in-person training in Washington, D.C., which includes the Public Administration Forum and Government Analytics course.

Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Be available to travel to Washington D.C. from May 27 to June 7 for in-person training.
- Be nominated by their organizations (up to 2 fellows per organization are allowed).
- Work in central government organizations, including agencies.
- Hold mid-level management or senior analyst positions (or equivalent), with the authority to develop a government analytics project.
- Demonstrate prior tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative methods.
- Be proficient in English.
Application

- A comprehensive CV (3 pages maximum), highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications.
- A 150-word summary of how you envision applying the insights gained to enhance your organization’s operations through a government analytics project.
- An endorsement letter from your organization, nominating you for the fellowship and confirming your position.
